It's not new anymore, but the subject must be discussed again, because now we have another evidences of the therapeutic powers of the wine. The doctors were always aware of the benefits the wine brings when the consume is moderated, preventing a lot of diseases but they were always afraid prescribing it to is patients, because of the risk in rising the abusive consume of alcohol. This seems to be changing .

This subject started to excite the medical class with more researchs after the program "60 Minutes", from the american channel CBS in 1991, when it was presented the French Paradox: the french, because of the diet rich in saturated grease, smoke and sedentariness, with another risks factors, had only 40% of taxes of coronary diseases comparing with the americans, justified by the regular consume of the red wine.

From that, like it was supposed to be, in the big universities and respecful scientific entities formed groups to conduce studies in a long time with the objective of confirming and rising the knowledge about the good efects of the wine in the human organism.
